Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago Michelle has been on stage singing since the age of 5. She started her career as a recording artist while a young teen making cassettes, CD’s and Chicago jingles. She played classical violin in orchestras, sang in acapella groups and performed musical theater throughout college, and then moved to Hilton Head Island, SC where she started her family and solo career by opening for dozens of major label country artists including Craig Morgan, Aaron Tippin, Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry, Steve Cropper, Tracy Byrd, Little Big Town, to name a few. She then moved to Franklin, TN in 2004 with her young children where she has remained for 19 years now and started recording with Kenny Chesney’s hit producers Buddy Cannon and Butch Carr and touring the country with her 3 children, musicians and crew for 10 years. She became a spokesperson for Indycar Racing team owner and quadriplegic Sam Schmidt. With the support of Sam Schmidt, Mario Andretti and Andretti Autosport, Michelle performed concerts for Indycar for a decade while filming a documentary called “My Finish Line” including a song she wrote about Sam Schmidt with the Indycar organization which was picked up by the Gideon Film Festival. Together with her sponsors Firestone, Braunability and Lifelock, Michelle embarked on her longest tour of 70,000 miles and 35 states with her family, musicians and crew on her own tour bus doing concerts, visiting VA hospitals, and Brain and Spinal cord institutes as a Paralysis spokesperson, recording artist and songwriter. Her song “Trip Around the Sun” went to #1 on the independent charts in 2014.

Michelle has always been passionate about hair and makeup since she was a young child. During all of her years touring in the music industry, she was always hired to do hair and makeup for album covers, weddings, CMA music festivals and red carpet events and her work has been featured in numerous magazines and National television including NBC and People magazine. She has always been in front of a camera or on stage and knows what it takes to create different looks and styles needed on print, television and live events and loves doing them for others as well as herself. As her children grew and she came off the road, she received her cosmetology license and quickly built clientele in Franklin as many already knew her work. Michelle has been with Samuel from the start at The Parker House and has loved his vision and passion for the hair industry and community of Franklin so much that she partnered with him. Michelle knows and loves the Franklin community well and has enjoyed creating The Parker House culture with Samuel. “I have a deep love for people and community. It doesn’t matter if I’m singing to them or doing their hair or makeup, my favorite part is connecting to make them feel beautiful from the inside out.”

Michelle is skilled with color, blonding, extensions, men’s cuts, styling and makeup and she will most likely be singing to you while you’re in her chair.
